Ural Turbine Works to produce steam turbines in Mongolia
MOSCOW, Jun 3 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Ural Turbine Works, a unit of Rotec, plans to open a service center for maintenance of steam turbines for power plants in Mongolia and create a plant for their semi knocked down assembly, a spokesperson for the group told PRIME on Monday.
Rotec estimates the Mongolian market for power machine builders at U.S. $6 billion for the next 10–15 years and expects that the installed capacity of the country’s power system will quadruple in the period.
